Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to join our team at the Frankenmuth Skilled Nursing and Rehab Campus. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, staff and visitors, supporting the health and wellbeing of everyone on campus through high-quality housekeeping and laundry services.
Responsibilities
As a Laundry Aide with Wellspring, you will:
- Follow schedule in accordance with Standard Precautions, hazardous waste handling, and cleaning agent use policies and procedures.

Collect and transport soiled linens and laundry from resident rooms and designated areas

Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures and item care instructions

Keep each resident’s laundry clearly organized and returned to the correct room

Operate laundry equipment safely, following all guidelines for loading, unloading, and machine care

Deliver clean linens, clothing, and clothing protectors to resident rooms and dining areas as assigned

Maintain a clean, organized laundry area and ensure equipment is in good working condition

Follow all infection control and Standard Precautions in every task

Assist housekeeping staff as needed to support overall cleanliness and resident comfort
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior housekeeping or laundry experience (preferred but not required).
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Reliable, detail-oriented and committed to teamwork.
- Compassion for seniors and a dedication to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Schedule and Compensation
- Employment type: Part-time, 30 hours / week on Day Shift (7:00am – 3:00pm)
- Weekends: Every other weekend rotation
- Pay Rate: $14.50 / hour
