What You'll Do
Examines and inspects vehicle integrity, including panels, wheels, previous repair work, etc.
Records noted imperfections and/or damage and reviews with supervisor, developing an action plan for vehicle repair.
Inspecting finished body panels
Repairing and/or replacing damaged panels or other body components as directed.
Removing and cleaning compound or polish residue from buffed panels sanding.
Moving vehicles to support production flow.
Completing work order documentation.
Wearing and using appropriate safety equipment at all times.
Following all job-related safety and health procedures.
Assisting with special projects as assigned.
Who You Are
You're all about accuracy and the value of attention to detail. You take pride in a day's work, and love working in an environment where your skills are respected and developed. You have the following qualifications:
Minimum:
3+ years of experience as a body repair technician or equivalent repair experience.
Safe drivers are needed; a valid driver's license is required.
The ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.
Preferred:
A high school diploma or its equivalent.
