Position Highlights
Shift: 2nd Shift - there is a 10% shift premium, except when training on 1st shift

Our client is a long-established aerospace manufacturer with roots dating back to the 1940s. Over decades, they've evolved into a leading global supplier of complex engine components and precision repairs for both commercial and military aircraft. Their Warren, MI facility specializes in machining hard alloys, complex cases, and aero-engine fabrications.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC lathe machines (Fanuc control experience a plus - training available)
Work with hard metals including Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel
Set up parts, fixtures, and tools for machining operations
Read and interpret CNC programs, blueprints, and operation sheets
Verify part accuracy using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
Work within tight tolerances (thousandths of an inch)
Operate hoists to load parts and fixtures as needed
Collaborate with shift supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Requirements
2-5+ years of CNC Machining experience (Aerospace preferred)
Experience machining large-diameter parts (30-70 inches)
Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work overtime as needed
Must pass drug screen and background check
Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization
