Pre-planning, engineering, and designing electric distribution systems. Determines need, size, location and timing of power delivery infrastructure development to balance economic, environmental, social and regulatory constraints, and reliability needs. Duties may include work package development of overhead, underground residential distribution, and underground cable/conduit, field engineering of project requirements, identification of conflicting utilities, engineering and design calculations, and post-construction reviews. Impact: Works on day-to-day objectives with limited impact beyond the scope of own work area/ project team. Works under supervision on less complex projects/ assignments. Complexity: Solves simple, routine technical problems following established procedures and policies. Develops products, solutions, processes using basic principles, theories and concepts within own technical specialty. Communication: Communicates with peers to explain facts, basic analysis, processes and practices related to area. Leadership & Talent Management: Knowledge: Requires basic knowledge of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of narrow technical domain. Typical Education & Experience: Typically requires BS degree or equivalent experience and 3+ years prior relevant experience.
Position Details:
- Pay Rate / Range: $27 - $57
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
