Understand impacts and needs for milestones
Gain insight into planning ahead on projects and what the "ripple" effects are when missing milestones early in a program
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead summer project (TBD) to support expanding R&R of project management team
Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to communicate project status, milestones, and key insights to management
Assist in the development and implementation of program management processes, process improvements, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
Set up timelines and follow up with teams
Understand how to communicated in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments
Extend offer for employment, either immediately or post-graduation
Show how the student enable successful execution of program they are following
Also gain insight from failures and how to use that to be more successful once graduating and entering into the workforce
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Have completed or are pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Students in Junior or Senior level coursework will be considered
In addition to the above, the student should have:
Ability to function in MS Office environment (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Learn how to communicate across regions and departments using MS Office tools
May learn about cost studies to meet program targets
Use of Excel to analyze impacts of changes
May perform analysis of quality impacts
Monitor metrics and expected impact(s) of engineering changes
