AmericInn of the Porcupine Mountains is seeking new members of our team!
We're looking to fill Room Attendant positions to
provide clean and fully supplied rooms for our guests.
Full-time, Part-time & Seasonal opportunities available.
Starting wage: $14.50/hr
Essential Functions
- Clean and stock all guest rooms (including changing linens on beds, dusting and vacuuming, stocking supplies, emptying trash, washing walls, floor tiles, toilets, tubs, sinks and fixtures).
- Clean common areas.
- Perform all laundry functions as needed.
- Report necessary maintenance so items can be repaired promptly.
- Perform deep cleaning and routine maintenance.
- Work in an efficient and productive mode, including reporting to work on time.
- Turn in all lost and found items immediately.
- Implement all company policies and procedures for safety and security.
- Assist with quarterly and fall cleaning duties and perform all other tasks as assigned by the head housekeeper or General Manager.
- Exhibit a courteous manner with all guests.
Qualification Standards
- Clean rooms within established goals per room.
- Follow all state and federal guidelines, including OSHA Hazardous Communication Training.
- Be organized and efficient.
- Possess good leadership and communication skills.
- Have a clear understanding of the goals and expectations.
- Must be mature, responsible and portray a professional image to our guests and employees.
- Have a positive attitude displayed in a relaxed, competent and bright disposition.
