Plastic Injection Mold Operator
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Sheridan, MI within the Automotive industry.
Mold Operator Job Summary:
- $16.50/hour
- 2nd Shift: 2:40pm-11:10pm
- Will move to 12 hour shifts rotation after 3 weeks of Training.
- Observing machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary
- Operates the injection molding machines for production.
- Inspects product to ensure parts comply with customer expectations as indicated by internal Quality Instructions.
- Ensures efficient operation of all machines, performing simple production troubleshooting activities, and ensuring adequate material supply at assigned machines.
- Packages and labels parts as per work instruction requirements.
- Assists in maintenance of equipment, tools, & facility as needed to ensure production is effective.
- Operating all assigned equipment safely and efficiently
- Verifying accuracy of work (i.e., QA line checks, verification of load-in/load-out accuracy)
- Ensuring that work area is clean and safety standards are followed
Mold Operator Qualifications:
- Ability to track and inspect parts in a timely manner
- Ability to stand on feet all day
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
