Fire Suppression Service Technician

- Join our team as a Fire Suppression Service Technician and play a vital role in safeguarding lives and properties. As a skilled technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and the highest level of safety for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and testing of fire suppression systems, extinguishers, and other fire protection equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions, making necessary repairs and replacements to ensure optimal functionality.
Conduct preventive maintenance to prolong the lifespan of fire protection systems and minimize the risk of failures.
Document inspection and service activities accurately, maintaining detailed records of findings, repairs, and recommendations.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Stay updated on industry regulations, codes, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide expert guidance to clients.
On-call rotation with other technicians to handle emergency service and inspection requests.
Qualifications:
Proven 2+ years experience with knowledge of fire suppression systems, and related equipment.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
NICET or State certification required.
Building Reports experience preferred.
ServiceTrade experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Job Type:Full-time
Pay:$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule:8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
