Job Description:

Bay Tech is seeking a Removable Insulation Stuffer / Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to lay out, stuff, and replace removable insulation covers and related materials.

Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Schedule: Weekends and holidays off
Experience: No prior experience necessary – willing to train the right candidate

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Stuffing and pinning insulation covers

• Cutting insulation

• Manufacturing insulation-related supplies

• Clearing and disposing of old insulation per safety guidelines

• Loading and unloading insulation materials and stocking supplies

• Safe use of scissors

• Following company and industry safety regulations

• Performing other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to follow instructions

• Use of hand tools and power tools for insulation tasks

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Good hand-eye coordination

• Must be 18 years or older to operate industrial sewing machines

• Good personal hygiene is required

• All tattoos must be covered while on the job

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Related experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and ladder climbing

• Ability to work in confined spaces

• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
