Customer Care Administrative Assistant – Coopersville, MI

Position Summary:
Our team is looking to hire a new Customer Care Administrative Assistant to help Bekins provide award winning customer service. This position is in our Coopersville location Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Bekins will provide paid on-the-job training for all new employees. It is Bekins’ goal to provide award winning customer service while providing employees with a stable environment focused on a healthy work/life balance. Starting at $20 an hour.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and become an expert in our company’s point of sales computer system
- Create and modify quotes, invoices, and specification packets for customer orders
- Monitor and adjust schedule dates on invoices to ensure accurate estimated timelines for projects
- Maintain consistent communication with customers, builders, and the sales team throughout the sales process
- Assist with issues experienced on job sites and complete necessary follow up to find solutions
- Work with other teams internally to ensure the entire process, from sales to installation, is as pleasant as possible for everyone involved
- Handle customer concerns and questions appropriately
Qualifications:
- Experience in clerical or administrative support positions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Able to navigate detailed computer software programs with ease
- Excellent customer service skills
- Naturally has a meticulous and precise personality; professional
- A friendly personality with a desire to help all of our clientele
- Able to communicate clearly, appropriately, and concisely in verbal and written formats
