Optalis Health & Rehabilitation is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team! A group of residents will be under your care, and you will be held accountable and responsible for them. The plan of care is assessed, carried out, and evaluated in order to provide nursing.

A Nurse’s daily responsibilities will be to evaluate assigned patients within the Nursing Facility and direct the CENAs in their daily care of residents.
Registered Nurse Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
- Communicate/report information to residents, resident families, physicians, guardians, governmental agencies, and facility personnel as required by facility policy and State/Federal guidelines.
- Administering medications and other treatments.
- Assisting physicians during examinations & procedures.
- Promoting patient’s independence by establishing, implementing, and directing care goals.
- Resolving patient concerns and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
- Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
- Stay up to date on Nurse training & education and facility policy and procedure.
- Other duties as assigned.
Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN License for the State of Michigan
- Current CPR Certification and BLS Certification
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under stress
- Prior experience with PointClickCare a plus
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Understands and follows infection control standards, policies and procedures
