The Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. You’ll work closely with sales to build accurate and competitive cost estimates for customer projects. Your work ensures we offer the right solutions while aligning with engineering capabilities and production standards.

What You’ll Do
- Build accurate and competitive cost estimates to support sales.
- Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical documents to create quotes.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering to ensure solutions meet technical and cost expectations.
- Maintain and update costing databases, vendor pricing, and historical job data.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities within estimation processes, including alternate materials or design approaches.
What You Bring
Skills
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Sharp attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Knowledge
- Understanding of mechanical components like motors, rollers, pulleys, bearings, and gear reducers.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as steel fabrication, welding, and powder coating.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including parts, assemblies, and layouts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial manufacturing or material handling.
- Exposure to engineering, mechanical design, or cost accounting.
- Familiarity with CAD software.
Ability to Implement
- Confident analyzing and interpreting technical documents.
- Collaborative across sales, engineering, and production teams.
- Skilled at developing clear, competitive quotes that support sales success.
Experience
While direct estimating experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing, engineering, technical sales support, or similar fields who have strong analytical skills and mechanical understanding.
