Position: Speech Pathologist
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (or CFY candidates may be considered)
- Valid Michigan Education Credential (if applicable)
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEPs, and education documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement IEPs and attend/lead IEP meetings
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, counselors, and administrators
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with federal/state education laws
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and parents as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team evaluations and school-based teams
- Serve multiple campuses if required
