This is a professional position providing a variety of professional, diagnostic, and treatment services for adults or children with mental illness. The person in this position will primarily serve as an intake specialist and will carry a small caseload. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Lead Intake Therapist.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Intake evaluation, formulation, and coordination of individual service plans
- Provide individual, group, and supportive psychotherapy
- Collaboration and participation with other clinical staff
- Ability to document all clinical activities in accordance with established professional standards, CARF standards, and additional funding bodies
- Ensures case coordination and follow-up with other professionals
- Community consultation, referral, and education
- Ability to meet agency productivity
- Willingness to learn and participate in evidence-based practices
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field required
- Five to seven years of post-degree experience preferred
- Appropriate State of Michigan professional license with full licensure preferred
- Valid Michigan driver's license and ability to meet agency's insurance company's standards for coverage
SALARY: $41,192 - $57,375 per year (commensurate with experience)
