Description/Job Summary The Terraces at Maple Creek Senior Living is looking for an energetic individual to join our dining team part time or full time. This is a great opportunity for those interested in healthcare, food service, nutrition, and career growth. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with the elderly and have strong multitasking and interpersonal skills. Additional requirements and job duties include the following:
-Serving food to customers at a limited number of tables, using proper rules of etiquette.
-Greeting and seating customers.
-Delivering service to tables in a timely manner.
-Explaining menu item ingredients & cooking methods to inquiring residents & guests
-Using point-of-sales system to relay orders to the kitchen.
-Cleaning and sanitizing workstations and equipment.
-Carrying and distributing meals
-Assisting in clearing and resetting tables.
-May assist others in the preparation of foods and properly store food.
-Bringing any resident or guest concerns immediately to management.
-Following all company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS*
- Education* High School diploma / G.E.D. equivalent
- Related Work Experience* Previous experience in foodservice preferred.
- Supervisory Experience* No supervisory/managerial experience Wage: $8.50/hr Full time employees are benefits eligible.
