Position Purpose:

What you will do:
Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have current, unencumbered R.N. license to practice in the State of Michigan; level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a minimum of two years of college level training in nursing, BSN preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; analytical ability to assess and evaluate patient's condition and utilize the nursing process; interpersonal skills necessary to almost constantly communicate with patients, families, medical personnel and other members of the health care team; ability to work cooperatively within the framework of the nursing team; ability to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure and stressful critical situations; ability to operate a computer.
Labor & Delivery RNs shall complete NRP and ACLS within 6 months of hire and Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within 1 year of hire.
This position will be Labor & Delivery/Mother Baby work zones and every other weekend.
