Dematic Corp has an immediate need for a mid level Product Safety Engineer position in the EHS team. This position will work within the Product Safety Group. The successful candidate will ensure products and modules commercialized by product centers comply with all applicable safety standards and regulations.

Vaccination Policy

Tasks and Qualifications:
Principal Accountabilities:
Ability to understand machine design information including specifications and drawings.
Provide technical assistance and guidance for regulatory compliance as it applies to Dematic's products for Product Development Engineers, Product Managers, and Project Engineers.
Review Product Technical Construction Files to ensure all required contents are available to demonstrate compliance to CE, UL, and other regulatory requirements.
Ensure product updates and revisions are captured in product technical files.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
Typically a BS/BA in engineering or advanced degree, past experience may be substituted for advanced degree.
Experience with Machine Safety Risk Assessment and Functional Safety
Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
