Responsibilities
- Assisting customers to make decisions about equipment based on their needs and desires. Interactions happen in-store, on the phone, and via email and text.
- Following up on quotes and past sales to maximize sales opportunities.
- Demonstrating the safe and effective use of equipment to customers.
- Using warm leads to develop new business opportunities.
- Tracking progress of customer opportunities through effective customer relationship management.
- 40-hours per week year-round with mandatory overtime during peak times (especially spring).
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous successful sales experience. Since our customers are both homeowners and contractors, both consumer and business-to-business experience are valuable.
- Excellent listening skills to be able to respond to customers’ inquiries.
- Ability to work independently with light supervision in an efficient manner.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Desire to please customers and do-what-it-takes attitude.
