Amigo Mobility International, Inc. is looking for a motivated Service Technician to assist customers with walking limitations fulfill their mobility needs through technical support.
Job Duties:
Accurately troubleshoot and repair POV’s, PWC’s and related medical equipment.
Prepare estimates for equipment repairs.
Demonstrates use of proper vehicle safety checks and annotates checklist for completion.
Explains proper safety and maintenance repair processes such as oil changes, headlight replacement and issues that make vehicle unsafe to operate. Demonstrates how to keep vehicle clean and orderly.
Demonstrates the correct methods for loading/unloading and securing all equipment in delivery vehicle, to included contaminated equipment separation.
Demonstrates the correct procedures for readying the delivery vehicle in accordance with all regulations.
Understands and assesses the home and environmental safety for the equipment being delivered and/or already in use at a location.
Demonstrates and explains required documentation for delivery of equipment.
Perform in home and in store service calls
Prepare estimates for equipment repairs
Process parts orders through vendors
Invoice repairs to the customer accurately
Provide warranty orders and repairs
Address and document customer concerns via direct contact or phone
Assist in POV vehicle lift installations
Knowledge and Skills Preferred
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
2 years experience working in repair field
Able to function as a polite, cooperative team member with a positive attitude
Detail oriented, accurate, and possess general office knowledge
Able to work independently, efficiently, with the ability to multitask
Driver’s license required
Position requires working knowledge of AC and DC electrical circuits related to POV/mobility equipment operation.
