This position requires a minimum of an Associates degree in Accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
This position is responsible for a variety of transactional accounting functions such as: financial reporting and day to day operations. Responsibilities include: payroll, assisting with accounting functions related to benefits and HR, G/L maintenance, account reconciliations and analysis, performing daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting functions/reporting, financial closings, audit prep., A/P, maintain policies and procedures for accounting functions are applied consistently and various special projects.
Must be accurate, detail-oriented, reliable, self directed and able to make independent decisions based on established policies and procedures. Will have the ability to perform a variety of tasks with a wide degree of independence, creativity. Must have strong QB and MS office skills including Excel. Strong organizational skills and a drive for accuracy are a must.
