POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director Corporate Marketing, the Manager Marketing Specialty Programs is an essential member of the marketing team providing a focus on strategic programs, execution, and guidance to engage and covert key donors and donor segments to support the needs of patients who require specialty and diverse units for effective and advanced treatments.
This cross-functional leadership position leads and serves on internal and external committees and teams, and partners with the hospital development team to provide unique program and recruitment strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining high-value and unique donors to meet patient needs and organizational goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Donor Engagement: Creates and drives implementation of highly strategic programs that create engagement and conversion of key communities and donor segments; delivering marketing solutions, tools, and training:
Develops and implements specialty segment program strategy including, but not limited to: O neg, Ro, emerging/temporary, diverse and multicultural donors
Developing & implementing specialty programs such as, but not exclusive to: Thank the donor, marketing automation, etc.
Collecting and Reporting on VOC & Analytics in partnership with MIO and Ops
Regular and frequent communication with stakeholders
Address stakeholder concerns and issues in a professional and timely manner
Monitors supporting marketing programs regularly to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness
Events and Campaigns
Leads delivery and training on campaign solutions, tools, and promotional items
Partners with Loyalty Program Manager to identify promotional items and integration into loyalty programs
Leads specialty events management in partnership with stakeholders
Communications
Partners with peers in Corporate Marketing Team and gathers content for social to be shared as part of monthly communications including, but not limited to: photos, news, organizational information from partners, etc.
Leads execution of CRM recruitment efforts including, but not limited to: mobile eblasts, cloud calls, texts messages as assigned to specified segments
Maintains understanding and ability to leverage industry standard marketing and communications tools
Leads meetings with key stakeholders to educate and train on marketing efforts
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Actively collaborates and communicates with peers in Corporate Marketing, PR, Recruitment, and Contact Center to deliver solutions
Reports on loyalty, campaign, and promotional programs results
Partners with Hospital Development and Blood Operations teams to enable healthy patient supply
Partners with Loyalty manager on promotions and club alignment
Communicates marketing campaigns and promotions with local stakeholders and leaders
Coordinate timely fulfillment and delivery of projects
HR Management
Provide work direction and guidance to staff
Provide coaching and training to staff members to ensure that they are successful in their roles
Monitor and document staff performance, set goals in partnership with director, Versiti corporate marketing and segment leaders, and completes employee performance evaluations.
Budget and Resource Management
Identify and analyze financial needs and develop operational and capital expense budgets that ensure cost-effective operations
Assists Director of Marketing in the preparation of the budget
Ensure that Versiti resources are used wisely
Process paperwork including purchases orders and invoices in a timely manner.
GENERAL DUTIES
Coordinate approved marketing projects within specific timeframes
Represents Versiti and marketing at designated meetings
Maintains required records, reports, and files as pertains to areas of responsibility
Participates in professional education to keep up to date on relevant developments in the field
Build relationships with local stakeholders to collaborate and deliver on expectations
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant field required
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing or related field required
Working knowledge of current marketing communications tools and technologies required
Event coordination experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work across teams
Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate project status, deliverables, and results
