Job Title: CNC Operator
About the Role:
We are looking for an CNC Machinist to guide our Machine Shop. The perfect fit will be someone with the energy to work on many small batch runs throughout the day. We need someone who is fast and efficient with setups and changeovers and keeps machine downtime to a minimum. This is an opportunity to make an impact and to build something that will be the cornerstone of a career.
Your Contribution:
- Quality control - You understand the need for a quality product, and you know how to drive high quality work through technical expertise.
- Efficiency- You know how to manage efficiency and production output. You keep production times within standards and expectations.
- Machine Shop Experience – Operating a CNC Mill and a CNC Lathe. Having the ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Energy - You thrive in a non-typical environment and love changing demands the day or customer may bring, and are adaptable.
- Resourceful - You wear multiple hats and loving jumping in whenever needed, taking on new challenges, and see this as a huge advantage in the work you do.
Specific Objectives:
- Implement systems to prioritize work (when different jobs should be completed).
- Create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to help standardize processes, work instructions, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor teammates to help them grow in their careers.
- Contribute to the ingenuity of the manufacturing process by suggesting, testing, and trying out new ideas.
- Fostering a safe work environment.
What You’ll Bring:
- CNC Mill and Lathe Operation Experience
- Computer proficiency
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Dependable
- Working in a 5S system is a plus
