Summary:
The Developer Operations team ensures that applications integrated with our platforms are high-quality and trustworthy. Working closely with other Facebook teams, we investigate and detect apps not compliant with our Platform Policies. Depending on the nature of the violation and the best user experience, we may take a variety of actions; everything from helping the developer/publisher fix the problem, to permanently removing the developer/publisher and application from our platform. We are committed to improve the platform experience for users, publishers and developers through the use of automated detection tools, strategic manual review, data analysis, guidance, and coordination with product teams. Our team is looking for an experienced team player to connect with internal and external teams, investigate and take action on violating apps, and ensure the best possible experience on our platform. In this position, you will interface with internal teams such as Policy, Partnerships, Legal, Product and Engineering, as well as with external teams. Successful candidates will have strong data skills, a bias toward action and enjoy finding patterns amid chaos.
Required Skills:
Develop a strong understanding of abuse and how it affects the Facebook Platform
Keep our Platform safe from malicious apps by ensuring due diligence of our team and our vendor teams in detecting and taking action on non-compliant apps
Support on-call shifts to manage tasks and tickets assigned to our team Conduct in-depth investigations and provide root cause analysis reporting during escalations
Partner closely with internal teams from Policy, Partnerships, Legal, Product, and Engineering Analyze large and complex datasets and use data to drive insights that solve for business problems Identify opportunities for automation and propose projects to scale our existing workflows
Be a thought leader in developer-based abuse, policies, and the developer ecosystem Lead or support projects to optimize detection and enforcement capabilities, improve operational efficiency and ensure a good experience for our developers

Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years working experience in operations, project management, business/data analytics, or related fields
Strategic thinker, self-starter, intellectually curious and creative individual with experience operating in ambiguity
Experience building connections with team members through effective communication and collaboration and in delivering results in a goal-oriented environment
Experience in querying and analyzing large and complex data sets that provide insights to inform decision making and solve for business problems
Experience assessing, analyze and resolve complicated issues, and distill that complexity into simple and concise communication
Experience leading multiple projects end-to-end, setting up roadmaps for the team, and motivating the team towards executing on deliverables to achieve project goals
Experience working with global cross-functional teams to collaborate on project work
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Economics, Information Systems, Finance, Public Policy, Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, International Relations
Experience in policy, abuse, investigations, consulting, or online operations environment
Experience in at least one data visualization tools
