Summary:
Facebook is seeking a Regional Product Strategic Partner Manager to support a selected group of hand curated community leaders who have built and grown relevant and impactful communities on and offline. The Community Partnerships Team's mission is to empower community leaders to start, grow and sustain meaningful communities around the world. The team serves community leaders to understand and address their needs in sustaining and strengthening their communities. We succeed when community leaders thrive.This person will collect and synthesize product feedback from partners, translate this feedback into high-quality insights to inform product development across a variety of product teams, support early stage product testing and adoption amongst community leaders, and optimize new experiences and processes to ensure our partners are successful. You will be the advocate of community leaders that ensures the products we build are grounded in our partners' needs, stories, and goals for their communities.You will work with some of the world's best organizations and community leaders as well as our world class product teams. In addition to those teams, you will work cross-functionally with the Policy, Legal, Marketing, PR and the Operations teams to influence, launch, support and scale products that help community leaders build sustainable practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion and curiosity for innovative social products and their potential for transforming communities.
Required Skills:
Deeply understand, prioritize and drive strategy for regional and global community leader product development and partner servicing needs to support community building on Facebook, across the family of apps, with a focus on Facebook Groups
This includes developing and executing strategy to ensure partner feedback informs product development of key features through tactics such as alpha and beta testing as well as internal events with key stakeholders
Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, business development, partnerships, policy, legal, marketing, and PR to launch products and partnerships
Track, analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
Adapt quickly to product changes and limitations, and communicate these strategically to stakeholders
Become the primary point of contact for and maintain strong direct executive relationships with Facebook's key community partners
Represent Facebook in external meetings with influential community leaders
Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including proactively resolving technical and policy issues and serving as an internal advocate
Minimum Qualifications:
Interest in building communities and the power of people coming together
10+ years of partnerships, strategy or business development work experience
Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
Communication skills, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
Experience communicating and presenting to internal and external partners
Demonstrated experience committing to driving impact in society
Experience using data to make decisions
Proven experience working cross-functionally with different levels of management, both internally and externally
Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Experience defining, developing and leading projects
Understanding of Facebook Platform and how its products could be leveraged to build community
BA/BS degree
Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience synthesizing and advocating for partner needs internally to product teams
Experience working with communities - e.g. community management
Understanding of Facebook platforms and how its products could be leveraged to build community
A strong interest and curiosity for innovative, mobile social products and their potential for transforming communities
