What you can expect in this position:
Under the direction of the Manager, Quality Management Systems maintains enterprise quality management software throughout the organization and participates in improvements to the Versiti quality management system. Works across the organization with Versiti management and staff to foster a quality culture and promote quality management, customer service, regulatory compliance, process effectiveness, and efficiency.
What you will do:
Provides ongoing maintenance as the user administrator of enterprise quality management software. Acts as subject matter expert for enterprise quality management software.
Participates in quality systems improvements across the organization.
Assists Manager of Quality Management Systems in identifying quality system improvements.
Develops reports within quality management software and assists users in analyzing, tracking, and trending resulting quality data.
Utilizes enterprise quality management software to monitor and identify emerging quality trends across the organization. Communicates trends to affected operational and quality management.
Develops controlled documentation necessary to communicate quality policies, processes, and procedures across the organization. Assures controlled documentation is reviewed, approved, and published in accordance with the document control and change management quality systems.
Provides training in quality systems and enterprise quality management software.
Integrates continuous improvement practices adopted by Versiti into quality systems, education and improvement activities.
Provides ongoing maintenance of legacy quality management software.
Provides document control support for Versiti.
Provides support for off-site record process.
Maintains knowledge of industry best practices related to quality systems implementations in cGxP environments.
Prioritizes and manages work efforts to meet the needs of one or more quality system areas simultaneously.
Prepares charts, tables, etc to analyze business requirements. Presents effectively to users.
Serves as liaison between the Quality Management Systems team and other departments/functions of Versiti.
Works effectively to maintain interdepartmental and intra organizational cooperation and respect.
Prepares detailed work plan estimates as well as detailed reports against plan.
Uses available test data or create input data to develop business cases, test plans and models. Analyzes results, corrects deficiencies and provides summary reports of testing outcomes.
Prepares and/or coordinates project documentation and system documentation.
Promotes positive relationships with key staff of internal and external vendors.
Interacts with Versiti employees, vendors and consultants as required to perform duties of position.
Participates in professional activities to keep up to date on relevant developments in the field.

What you will need:
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university required; major in Quality Engineering, Business or Administration preferred
High School diploma or GED equivalency required
A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a regulated environment where change management, systems integration, and continual process improvement were required and successfully implemented
Demonstrated success implementing start-up quality strategies in a similar environment
Experience in technical communication/professional writing strongly preferred
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Well-developed, proven skills and abilities for planning, organizing, and managing systems implementation across multiple organizational units
Ability to effectively manage computer system implementation projects including planning, validation, implementation, training, etc.
Knowledge of quality management tools, including LEAN, root cause analysis, and use of statistics
Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong project management skills needs assessment; planning; facilitation; problem solving; tracking; and delegation and/or performance of project tasks to ensure project completion within designated timeframes.
Excellent communication, training, and collaborative team building skills
Working experience and knowledge of regulations related to the blood industry and/or health care environment, and quality assurance concepts/practices
Ability to analyze information from control and tracking systems to make recommendations for improvements
Ability to effectively apply quality methodologies to facilitate process analysis and problem solving in a team setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, as well as ability to learn and effectively use other computer software, as required
