Automotive Rework / Retrofit Technician

MARTIN is currently expanding and has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS on our Rework/Retrofit Technician Team. Members of this team perform teardown and rebuild of automotive components and systems. This is a technical position with an emphasis on detail, process, quality, and efficiency.
Position Responsibilities:
· Support all assigned work hours and responsibilities
· Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment
· Perform all assignments according to provided work instruction
· Accurately document completed work
· Participate in quality and efficiency improvement activities
· Maintain confidentiality and security of project information
· Cross training to work in multiple stations
· Flexibility in daily routines as required to meet team goals
· Meet or exceed quality, efficiency, and productivity standards
Essential Skills and Experience:
· High School diploma or GED
· Mechanical aptitude
· Maintain high attention to detail
· Process oriented
· Efficient with standard automotive hand tools including torque wrench
· Comprehend directions from simple to moderate complexity
· Learn new skills, processes, and operations
· Ability to work both independently and with a team
Requirements:
· Follow company COVID-19 protocol
· Standing for duration of entire shift
· Bending, squatting, and stooping needed to complete job
· Lift up 40 lbs.
· Must be authorized to work in the US
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.25 - $16.00 per hour
