This position will workwith an experiencedteam of developersand be part of Herman Miller's digital transformation. Your initial focus will be to work on a system that enablestheglobal merchandising of products and applications through one consistent workflow, efficiently aligned across brands and regions. Thissystem powers the product data and application pages on both internal and external platforms and sites.

Inside the Job
Your day-to-day work will involve:
Redesigning our global dealer resource portal:Work to deliver a streamlined experience,leveraging integrations to key data sources, and providing locale specific content across the world
Working as a team:Work as part of an Agile Product team to apply learned IT skills to designed stories
Improving processes:Actively participate in the development of IT processes and recommend process improvements
Engaging with technology:Identify opportunities for improvements to technologies and IT processes
What You Bring
Needed skills and experience for this role include:
A Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field
4+ of experience in professional IT or IS
Understanding of best practices with team-based development inGit
Strong knowledge of software development patterns and best practices
Knowledge of current and emerging technological development in software and web technologies
Understanding of DB Design and software architecture
Experience with C#, .Net Framework, Entity Framework, ASP .Net MVC, SQL Server, JavaScript ES6+, HTML/CSS, and Angular 2+ or equivalent
Experience with .Net Core, Entity Framework Core, AWS (preferred)
Experience delivering web projects using ASP .Net, MVC, Web API frameworks, and JavaScript web frameworks
Experience with Agile Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
A robust understanding of coding and testing
