Branch Manager of Genesis Seating, Inc.
Responsible for ensuring the customer quality specifications are established and adhered to by developing, enhancing and supporting the Genesis Seating, Inc. Quality System through the utilization of continuous improvement problem solving tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure Customer expectations via Product Specification, Drawings/Prints and Bill of Materials are driving quality
Responsible for developing and maintaining the Quality Assurance System that cultivates a 'quality-first' mentality during the life cycle of the product. This includes ensuring product launch validation testing, initial customer PPAP approval, vendor PPAP approval and quality acceptance standards through life cycle.
Lead and/or facilitate problem solving teams for process related quality concerns, i.e. Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions
Communicate all customer quality issues to management staff and shop floor, i.e. PPMs
Responsible for customer returns, including reporting incidents, tracking of correlative actions, and management of financial reconciliation.
Lead Quality Team in developing suppliers
Support strategic planning for organization
Understand and drive cost improvements through all levels of the organization
Support product launches in the capacity of setting up quality documentation, training and layout optimization
Responsible for integrating problem solving tools to all levels of the organization

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Four year college or university program certificate and a minimum of 5+ years in Quality or 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific, technical and professional journals and general business periodicals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and other employees of the organization. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios. Must be proficient in MS Excel and Power Point.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

Drivers License, Four Year Degree
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Must be capable of utilizing software in day to day communications.
