Currently seeking Assembler/Production candidates to fill 1st shift, 2nd shift and 3rd shift openings with a company located on the bus line in Grand Rapids. This company manufactures foam products, pillows, cushions, mattresses etc. and job duties would include upholstery, sewing, labeling, packing and shipping.
Available Shift
– 1st shift, 6a-2p
-2nd shift, 2p-10p
-3rd shift, 10p-6a
Responsibilities
– Operate non-motorized equipment to move pallets of raw materials, barrels of bulk or finished goods, pick goods specific to work instructions, preparing work station for assembly of mattresses.
– Conduct quality checks on raw and finished products.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for entire shift.
– Ability to lift 50 lbs.
– Ability to work overtime as needed.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Perform the job safely while adhering to company safety standards.
