We are currently looking to add to our team a Customer Service Representative. This person will provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients, carriers and coworkers.
Perform account reviews and consult clients with coverage suggestions
Create business-to-business referral relationships
Use agency tools (i.e.: Applied Management Systems, Comparative Rater, etc...) to quote, sell and service a high volume of personal lines products (home, auto, motor home, etc...) to current and referred clients
Monitor Follow-Up on a daily basis for outstanding items such as endorsements, renewals, quotes, recommendations, etc
Process incoming mail, emails, and voice mails in a timely manner. Answer incoming phone calls by the second ring
Assist in training other employees at manager's request
Capacity to work on other campaigns for the Agency in conjunction with regular workload when needed (i.e.: Umbrella Campaign). Perform special projects at management's request
Maintain knowledge of company underwriting criteria, rating procedures, and marketing policies
Maintain current state P&C license, attending classes and seminars as requested.
Track and pursue all x-dates obtained

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent, required
P & C License is preferred but not required
Working knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance preferred but not required
Computer Skills:
Basic comprehension of Microsoft Suite, including the ability to create and edit an excel spreadsheet, the ability to create and edit a word document, and fluent with the functions of Outlook
Other Qualifications:
Must be organized, detail oriented, and efficient with excellent verbal and written communications skills
The ability to effectively work well with others
Must possess a high level of problem-solving skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary to deal with a large variety of personalities
