CDL-A Drivers are responsible for transporting/hauling RV parts (racks and skids) in a timely and courteous manner while safely operating their vehicles.
Essential Functions:
Deliver freight
Manage proof of delivery paperwork from customers
Assist in loading/unloading trucks
Check mechanical aspects of the vehicle
Keep a record of vehicle inspections and maintain logs of working hours
Follow safety procedures and protocol
Make sure the truck is equipped with proper safety equipment
Report any incidents encountered on the road
Competencies
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
Flatbed experience is required
Class A Commercial Driver's License is required prior to employment
Driving record in good standing free of any major violations
Customer service skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
Must be team-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable
Must be able to work independently and have good knowledge of local roads/routes
Supervisory Responsibility
None
Work Environment
On the road, driving a truck for various lengths of time.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position requires Personal Protective Equipment. Protective Equipment supplied by the company includes: Coating suit, Coating Boots, Spray Socks, Respirator, Work Gloves, Safety Glasses and Ear Plugs. Team Member may be required to provide additional Protective Equipment (Safety Shoes, etc.).
Travel
This position requires local deliveries/travel only.
Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to pass E-Verify.
