General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Network Administrator with Cloud experience.
Join an exciting and dynamic team delivering a large-scale Enterprise Common Tools cloud platform, automation & orchestration, and Cloud Application Migration effort. This team works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with engineering, migration, and operations & sustainment of cloud migration efforts. Enterprise Common Tools and specific Army program customer migration efforts provide a range of day-to-day challenges, while the bigger picture architecture and migration efforts provide tangible milestones that the team pursues together following AGILE practices, to deliver the overall program effort. We're building a team with the right skills to deliver operations and sustainment in an environment of customer mission delivery, integrity, and communications, with both dedicated and matrixed resources, and the chance to learn and grow on the job and the program. We're looking to fill this role/team with those who currently have the cloud experience, certifications, and skills to execute in large enterprise environments, are flexible and enjoy tackling challenges, and desire to join a large team that is building and sustaining a large multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise and migrating/expanding/automating the enterprise. RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Cloud Network Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, documenting, and maintaining cloud network services to include VPC, Security Group, Load Balancing, Access Control Lists. Successful candidate must have a strong understanding of DOD cloud governance, including CC-SRG, SCCA, CAP architectures, required to implement IL5/IL6 cloud services for DOD customers.
The Cloud Network Administrator responsibilities include:
Leverage cloud native network service (i.e. AWS PrivateLink) to provider secure optimal routing.
Utilize appropriate network monitoring tools to assist decision makers with budget forecasting for network egress.
Experience with AWS Application Load Balancers, Network Load Balancers, and Citrix Netscalers.
Knowledge of AWS IDS, IPS, Logging capabilities for example AWS GuardDuty, AWS Shield.
Effectively communicate to team lead.
Experience troubleshooting network performance, connectivity issues, and providing root cause to leadership
Required skills and experience:
BA/BS (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of experience in the responsibility areas
8570 compliance: IAM I or IAT II (Security+ CE or equivalent)
Load Balancing architectures
Experience with Cloud infrastructure design in a networking capacity with Amazon Web Services
Expert Knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting architecture, AWS Transit Gateway, access control lists, and firewall architecture
Experience troubleshooting multi-vpc, cross-account communication
Active Secret Clearance with SSBI or Favorable T5 background
