Our work depends on a Functional Analyst/Specialist joining our team to support Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) activities in the Baltimore/Washington Area.
In this role, a typical day will include
Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements.
Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. Identifies resources required for each task.
Performs business case development, Gap Analysis, Analysis of Alternatives, Technology Business Management.
Support the development of business cases and feasibility studies - includes support for feasibility study and analysis of alternatives (AoA), preparation of Decision Analysis and Resolution (DAR) reports to objectively evaluate technology/tools
Helps to define the business need and scope of the agency data warehouse applications and websites and to document all instance of tools technologies related to data warehouse data sets
Assists in documenting the data transfers between source systems and data warehouse
Maintains the baselines for the Alternatives of Analysis (AoA)
Helps to implement processes to maintain, track, and analyze software and hardware inventory data
Support functional analysis and documentation, project analysis and reporting
Qualifications:
BS/BA and five years' or more of relative experience,
3 years experience developing functional requirements for complex integrated systems.
Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction.
US Citizenship is required
Must be able to meet customer facility COVID requirements
This position requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021 or the start date, if after December 8.
