Summary:As a Maintenance Technician, you are required to perform routine maintenance, rebuild and repair work on all equipment in the facility to support production needs. You must display a high skill level in one or more of the following electrical/electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems, millwright;with the ability to work with and train others. A successful Maintenance Technician will self-start and take initiative without direction. You will be dedicated to the department's and company's objectives.Duties and Responsibilities:•Responsible for troubleshooting electrical control circuits and repairing and maintaining all electrical systems in the facility.•Capable of assisting or repairing PLC hardware for Die Cast and other plant equipment.•Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed.•Responsible for repairing gas fired and electrical furnaces and making sure they are properly maintained on a routine basis. You will also be repairing transformers, buss bars, water tower, pumps, and compressors as needed.•Complete Lock/Out Tag/Out Training.•Maintenance Techs will also repair water cooling systems and plant air systems when required.Repair/rebuild all parts of a die cast machine, gear reduction units, and forklifts.•Capable and willing to work overtime.•Participate in training programs deemed necessary by the company.•Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.•Reports to supervision as dictated by organizational chart. Has the authority and responsibility for controlling quality as delegated by management.Positions Requirements:•Maintenance Technician requires a high school diploma or GED.
