The HR Strategy & Transformation Digital Enablement team will elevate the employee experience by delivering firmwide, transformational solutions. Combining human-centered design techniques with leading-edge technologies, Talent will transform the way we engage with practitioners, machines, data, and each other. The initial primary focus will be on the new People Analytics & Reporting solution implementation of One Model.
We're looking for an innovative, driven manager to serve as a digital business advisor to the Talent channel and partner with our HRST colleagues to deliver on complex, large scale technology projects. This individual will need to demonstrate excellent project management and critical problem-solving skills to successfully deploy firmwide technology solutions. This individual can translate business needs into technology requirements, and is equally adept at managing Talent stakeholders, technology colleagues and external vendor relationships.
Work you'll do
As the Digital Enablement Reporting Technology Manager, you will:
Manage large, complex talent technology projects thru the full life cycle of implementation using agile methodology for design, testing and deployment.
Document and manage the project plan, resources, timeline and budget along with risks, actions and decisions.
Collaborate with the HRST Program Advisory & Delivery, People Analytics & Reporting, ITS and Vendor teams as needed to successfully deliver on technology solutions for Talent.
Engage Talent and Business stakeholders in development of system requirements to ensure the user and administrator needs are being met.
Develop a strategy to manage post-go live hyper care support including triage processes, issue ticket/case management approach, coordinate creation of knowledge articles and set-up of case management technology and coordinate first level support with the call center.
Leverage human centered design thinking strategy to focus on our users' needs; considering the voice of the customer will be critical.
Scan the marketplace for innovative, leading edge technology solutions that will solve business problems and challenge the status quo on previous solutions.
Partner with the project team to navigate firm compliance requirements when initiating a project, including submitting a new technology solution thru the required third-party relationship management review process. This includes all related independence and cyber security reviews and annual maintenance.
Facilitate the RFP process for an objective vendor selection in partnership with the stakeholders, HRST colleagues, ITS and procurement to ensure a technology solution is selected based on business and technology needs (including budget and timing considerations).
Perform other role-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of relevant work experience
Background and experience with implementing new Talent systems and processes, from ideation thru deployment phases
Strategic-thinking skills with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices
Advise and consult colleagues on downstream system and process implications of system/configuration decisions
Ability to anticipate challenges and develop contingency plans accordingly
Analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills
Building and managing strong relationships with stakeholders, colleagues and vendors.
Work well in a dynamic, complex, client- and team-focused environment within minimal oversight and an agile mindset
Strong project management and organizational skills, particularly in managing multiple project priorities simultaneously
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excited by prospect of working in a developing, ambiguous, challenging situation.
Ability to link the business and talent strategy/vision thru to system selection, design and delivery
Strong written and oral communication skills to convey complex topics concisely
Proficient Microsoft Office skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Word, Teams)
Knowledge of the professional services industry is preferred
