This department also leads our efforts related to drafting support for our Engineering team and managing our Computer Aided Drafting Standards. This team has a major part in delivering on our capital investment strategy for the Company and maintaining configuration management for our Operations team members.Job DescriptionThe Plant Document Control Technical Specialist will support plant document control functions for JH Campbell Generation Facility - West Olive, MI as well as support other EGI Document Control activities when applicable. The Plant Document Controller main activities will include:•Serve as liaison for Document Control working closely with plant personnel guiding them on our record requirements documented in our procedures.•Daily management and updating of plant drawings and documents using the Document Change Request (DCR) process including reporting on these activities for the Weekly Operating and Monthly Operating Reviews.•Accurately and in a timely manner control and assign new controlled and plant drawing numbers per the established numbering conventions. This position requires visits to plant areas to deliver critical prints that require proper PPE.Hours and TravelOffice hours will be an eight (8) hour day M-F 7am - 4pm (or approved start and finish times from supervisor). On occasion there may be a need to work extended shifts or weekends.
