Crowe is hiring for a Data Analyst within our Applied Technology - Tax team. The role focuses on data analysis, which entails interpreting complex data requests, retrieving the data utilizing T-SQL, visualizing the data in a way that makes sense for each request, and helping the stakeholders utilize the data.
â€¢ Maintain current Tax analytic reports
â€¢ Handle ad-hoc requests for data export or analysis
â€¢ Expand curated PowerBI Datasets for business access
â€¢ Develop new insights into existing tax data
â€¢ Collaborate to create an analytic standard across Tax
â€¢ Integrate PowerBI with 3rd party tools to expand tax datasets
â€¢ Explore creating curated analytical insights for external client users
â€¢ (required) 2+ years of T-SQL experience including utilizing aggregation
â€¢ (required - at least one, in order of decreasing preference) Experience with Data Visualization tools such as PowerBI, SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, Cognos
â€¢ (required) Strong analytical skills
â€¢ (required) A strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to step back and see the big picture
â€¢ (required) Works well collaborating with others
â€¢ (preferred) Experience consulting with external clients or stakeholders on data analytics needs
â€¢ (preferred) Experience with the direct support & cooperation with the applications end users and business teams
â€¢ (preferred) Experience with financial and accounting data
