About the Role
As the regional lead of Product Solutions, you will be responsible for evangelizing all Digital Cockpit Product lines. This role is about driving PG-Cs; strategy/products/features into the market and setting the market strategy for the product management team.
What You Will Do
•Define the Regional North American Product Strategy - Cockpit, that addresses HARMAN's global needs
•Define and represent product strategy to help HARMAN's product teams prioritize roadmaps, based on regional and customer trends.
•Lead, define and communicate new products and their local business case to expand HARMAN's product offering that may be most relevant to the local market
•Define high-level requirements and product direction based on local market data and business intelligence
•Lead local customer cockpit solutions based on the platform strategy
•Together with CPM and CBU teams provide incredible technical and commercial solutions for FRX customer inquiries that are based on the global product portfolio.
•Pro-actively evangelize to the local customers the benefits of Harman's platform approach at all levels of the customer's organization, from board members to SW developers.
•Educate local customers about HARMAN's innovations from both a technical and business perspective
•Lead local Product Marketing activities for the cockpit with the support of Technology Marketing
•Specify and lead local cockpit marketing demo assets; cars, tabletops, etc.
•Assist in creating and maintaining cockpit platform sales material
•Lead local cockpit sales training program to inspire the sales team on how to best promote platform-based solutions.
•Drive innovative strategy, ideas, solutions, and products through leadership and decisive action.
What You Need
•University degree in Engineering
•10+ years of experience in Automotive
•Know-how of current infotainment systems & Cockpit solutions
•Experience of building business cases for products and customer solution
•Experience of managing HW, SW and Service products
•5+ years Pre-Sales or Business development experience
•5+ years Project, leadership and international management skills
•Strong skills in communication, presentation and problem solving (customer and internal)
What is Nice to Have
•Product Management experience
•MBA is Preferred
•Automotive Cockpit domain experience
•Automotive Connected Services experience
•Automotive Advanced Driver Assist experience
•Fluent and effective communicator at trade conferences/customer presentations, to build a rapport with the audience
