DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The IT Analyst analyzessystem requirements as they pertain to business processes. Under direction of a Lead or Senior Analyst, he or she documents functional requirements, installs, tests, documents, and maintainsapplication components as required. Assistswith local user support, training and service desk functions, as required. Assists in technical feasibility studies andcost benefit analysis when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Performs business analysis of systems and follows through the full development life cycle.
•Translates business needs into technical requirements.
•Prepares the functional business definition and the functional design document (FDD).
•Performs configuration tasks within SAP.
•Prepares test scenarios and conducts system integration testing and regression testing for system enhancements and upgrades.
•Coordinates work with other IT groups as needed.
•Participates in identifying opportunities for business process redesign utilizing SAP delivered applications and modules.
•Educates others in the workflow, business processes, and reporting tools within a given functional area.
•Resolves assigned (functional) service desk tickets within the assigned application areas.
•Prepares and delivers system and process training as required.
•Coordinates, implements, and communicates system change requirements.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent Engineering or Business Degree.
•1+ years of experience working in the appropriate business process with a good understanding of the business / systems concepts.
•Experience in business process analysis, standardization and optimization.Experience with tools like Lean Manufacturing, TMS, and Six Sigma a plus.
•Experience working with the relevant systems (e.g. SAP), experience with project methodology including planning, testing and documentation standards.
•Experience providing technical and functional training courses.
•Strong working knowledge of Business processes.
•Consulting and negotiating skills.
•Ability to work with others in remote (foreign country) locations in different time zones.
•Capable of applying a comprehensive requirement elicitation process and track those requirements all the way through the development and testing processes.
•Proven skills in conflict management, presentations, and financial calculations, Excel / Word / PowerPoint / MS Project.
•Ability to establish good business relations at different levels in a virtual organization.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
•Additional basic knowledge in one other language German, French or Spanish is preferred in some regions.
•Ability to travel - on average 25%.

•Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance and to stoop kneel, crouch or crawl.
•Vision abilities required include close vision.
•Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
•The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.
