About the Role
This position will operate on a part-time basis during the school year and have a full time schedule during the summer. You will be working on HARMAN's Employer Brand team within the overall Talent Acquisition organization. You will play a role in further executing and sharing the story of our Employer Brand through a number of mediums - from digital to social and print. This will help HARMAN attract strong future candidates and position the company as an employer of choice in the competitive talent market.
What You Will Do
•Support the development and rollout of new Employer Brand materials for online and offline activities
•Aid in the drafting of communications such as articles, social media posts, blogs, video scripts and newsletters
•Maintain and update social media channels, both local and global, by creating content, suggesting advertising opportunities, documenting analytics, etc.
•Assist with the engagement and activation for our global Employer Brand Ambassadors Program (newsletters, email updates, calls, etc.)
•Research and recommend best practices for digital talent attraction efforts
•Be our storyteller. Actively participate in content development to create new and innovative ways to communicate the Employer Brand internally and externally
What You Need
•Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution in the Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
•Must have taken courses in a related field such as Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, etc.
•Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above
•Must have knowledge of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
•Experience with photo/video editing software and simple graphic design platforms would be preferred
•Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
What Makes You Eligible
•Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work in the Novi, MI office
•Must possess unrestricted work authorization
•Must provide part-time (10-15 hours per week) availability starting in February 2020 and full work availability (40 hours per week) from May 18, 2020, through August 7, 2020
