Generates sales quotations and handles customer inquiries. Responsible for helping to meet established sales goals through exceptional service to channel partners and customers. Supports sales personnel by providing and following up on quotes and handling tier-two dealer relationships.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare quotations for tier-two dealers and assigned customers.
- Become expert in products and applications to support sales goals.
- Be point of contact for tier-two dealer sellers.
- Evaluate and refer quotes / leads to outside sales personnel as appropriate based on value opportunity, need for direct interaction, or existing outside sales assignment.
- Update ERP database, including assigning leads, updating leads, and updating quotes.
- Work closely with Scheduler to understand lead times and manage customer expectations .
- Support customer service on dealer / customer after-sale issues.
- Coordinate drawing requests with Applications Engineer.
- Support project and sales personnel with formal proposals.
- Follow up on open quotes via email and phone calls.
- Assist outside sellers with quotes for tier one dealers and direct customers.
- Establish and maintain monthly contact with assigned dealers with a formal follow-up program.
- Participate in identifying, proposing, and implementing process improvements.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with other team members.
- Develop and maintain effective communications with BOSTONtec team, channel partners, customers, and outside entities to ensure excellent customer service.

Qualification Requirements
- At least two (2) years sales or customer service experience.
- Good time management and organizational skills; ability to set goals, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Accuracy and quality conscious with a strong focus on attention to details.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - verbal, written, e-mail and telephone.
- Ability to create and sustain positive business relationships.
- Experienced with Microsoft software suite – Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook.
- Good attendance, reliability, and work performance records.
- Ability to read and comprehend basic drawings.
- Strong problem-solving, judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness and ability to work extra hours as projects and workload require.
