COACHING POSITION:
Middle School Track and Field Coach
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified teacher preferred.
- Shows demonstrated skill in identifying and treating sports related injuries.
- Two years of successful experience as a coach in the respective sport preferred.
- Experience in high school or college sports is preferred.
- Such alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coaches individual skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport.
- Coaches team skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport.
- Work closely with the Athletic Director and Head Varsity Coach on scheduling.
- Maintains paperwork such as attendance, physical cards, and equipment inventory.
- Oversee the facility in which the sport is conducted at all times students are present.
- Enforce district eligibility criteria
- Enforce discipline and sportsmanship at all times, and enforces district and team handbook rules for breach of such standards.
- Attends all games in which team participates.
- Present a positive image for the school and the team through appropriate behavior and appearance.
- Will set personal, as well as player goals and objectives which can be evaluated. Such goals and objectives will be designed to promote growth and improvement in the coach, individual players, and team.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Head Varsity Coach and Athletic Director.

As per the master contract - Schedule B
