Position Summary
This position will perform cleaning and maintenance activities; understands and gives verbal or written instructions; reads chemical, biological, or radioactive warning signs; removes snow with shovel or snow blower; retains training information required for custodial methods, equipment, and products; works with student employees and communicates and interacts with the University community; serves as a liaison with the Department of Public Safety; maintains product inventory;WebForm_DoPostBackWithOptions(new WebForm_PostBackOptions("ctl00$Main$_sidebar$_fullSources$ctl01$_sourceLink", "", true, "", "", false, true)) makes independent decisions to accomplish acceptable cleaning standards using appropriate methods, products, and equipment.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
- One-year experience with commercial or institutional cleaning methods, techniques and equipment.
- Frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds is required, occasional lifting of 50 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in maintaining wood floors; experience in health care facility cleaning, and basic equipment repair.
A creative and innovative lifelong learner with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population; able to problem solve within a collaborative team environment; ability to understand different perspectives while utilizing expert knowledge of the technical operations of the job.
