As a Contracts Administrator/Legal Assistant you would be responsible for reviewing contract terms and conditions, and work with program managers to verify that contract terms are met. Also, be responsible for compliance of ITAR/ EAR.
Job Functions:
- Reviewing government and private contract terms and conditions.
- Developing procedures for ensuring corporate compliance with government FAR/DFARS clauses and ITAR/EAR.
- Developing procedures for ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions, managing execution and delivery of contract documents.
- Coordinating responses, and administering Non-Disclosure Agreements.
- The Contracts Administrator works with the Chief Legal Officer to evaluate contract requirements and advise senior management.

Qualifications
-Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent, or field related to contract administration
-Three (3) years of experience in related role
-Preferred skills include: Contract management, effective communication, government contracting, FAR/DFARS knowledge, ITAR/EAR knowledge, and experience with MS Office and MS Project.
-Organizational & motivational abilities.
-Works well with others.
-Able to multi-task and establish priorities.
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, team player, confident, motivated and trustworthy. -Able to manage deadlines and multitask.
-Preferences: Direct experience working within defense industry customer (government) organizations, professional certification (e.g. CFCM, CPCM, CACM). #merrill
