Position Summary Information

Delta College is looking for one or more adjunct instructors for the Physical Therapist Assistant program. Adjunct instructor will be responsible for teaching in-person section(s) at main campus and/or virtually. Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Understanding of and ability to work with a diverse student population Use of email, internet-based resources, and common Office software Ability to teach in a variety of formats, including incorporating online learning systems Understanding of ADA requirements and willingness to create accessible materials Effective interpersonal skills Understanding Delta Mission/Vision/Values *Specific PTA program course opportunities may include:* Physical Agents (modalities) Clinical Anatomy (muscle anatomy, manual muscle testing, etc.) Pathophysiology Neuroanatomy Prosthetics and Orthotics Human Development
Required Qualifications	Associate’s degree (minimum) Licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant Minimum 3 years of full-time (or equivalency) clinical experience Expertise in the subject matter
Additional Experiences Considered	Bachelor’s degree or higher Teaching experience (clinical instructor or classroom) Bilingual
