HOURS: Full Time: 45-50 hour average work week – HOURLY
Working shifts: Approximately 9 hours between the hours of 5 a.m. – 12 a.m. This person is expected to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Specializes in and is responsible for the purchasing, receiving, storage, and inventory of all food, supplies, glassware, within the Kitchen, Dining Room, Family Fun Center and Housekeeping departments. Responsible for the costing of all food and beverage menus. Responsible for training, review, and evaluation of all stock personnel. Assists with menu development in coordination with the kitchen manager. Responsible for food projections for production for buffets and cost them out to see if changes in pricing or estimates are needed. Assists all other areas as needed with watching over café, carving, cooking meat for holiday’s, compiling wish list items, getting stock for kitchen if needed, or doing health inspections. Ensures proper cleanliness of coolers, freezers, and storage areas. Responsible for menu planning for employee meals in coordination with order and re-useable items. Assists with overseeing the break area that meals are available on time, area and equipment are clean, operable and employees are productive. Completes inventories of food and other supplies.
