Regular use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Required to sit and climb or balance. Must regularly lift and//or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and or/move up to 95 pounds. Able to move material weighting up to and exceeding 1000 pounds frequently using material handling equipment (hand trucks, platform trucks, pallet dollies, pallet jacks, overhead crane, etc.). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work is performed in a shop environment on concrete floors. There are areas in the work environment where dust, noise, fumes and smoke may be present. The employee may work at different workstations as production needs require, or shift from one station to another during welding and production process.
