Position Summary:

The Mechanical Hookup Associate assembles the boat interior units according to manufacturing specifications in a safe and organized work area. We are looking for a dependable, personable individuals who have an eye for quality and are willing to learn. The Mechanical Hookup Associate will complete all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing connections detailed in the manufacturing plan. This includes, connecting Deutsche plugs, wiring components, plumbing connections, installing engines, steering systems, and testing system functionality.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Mechanical Hookup Associate will work with minimal supervision, assemble boat units per specifications prescribed on the Tiara Yachts work instructions.
• The Mechanical Hookup Associate must have the ability to use basic hand tools and power tools with some degree of mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Must be able to read schematics and build drawings.
• The Mechanical Hookup Associate will communicate the current product, process or material constraints or issues to the team leader.
• The Mechanical Hookup Associate must be accustomed to physical tasks for long periods of time. This includes, but not limited to, standing, kneeling, lifting to 40lbs, bending, using your hands, and working with various materials.
• Must have basic computer knowledge and basic math skills.
• When asked, the Mechanical Hookup Associate will assist with training team members to develop job knowledge and improve performance.
• Maintain daily labor tracking records and participate in daily cleaning/5S routine.
• On occasions, management will ask the Mechanical Hookup Associate to perform other related duties to maintain the integrity of the production goal.

Education and Experience:

• High School graduate or equivalent required
• Mechanical experience preferred
