Set up and operate all inkjet and mailing devices according to specification on the job ticket as well as maintaining quality standards of jobs produced by these machines. Ensure each and every order is produced to specification while meeting delivery deadlines. Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure its optimum operation. May troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance as needed. May coordinate the assignment of crewmembers and may provide training for new team members.
Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment. Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment. Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine and the need for such adjustments are readily apparent.
Responsibilities:
Operate offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment.
Set up and adjusts machine and equipment for production runs. Machine trouble shooting and maintenance as needed.
Operate high speed machines that insert printed matter, such as letters or booklets into folders or envelopes.
Set up and adjust the machine to operate efficiently.
Oversee output and make adjustments as necessary.
Cleans and maintains assigned machinery to ensure its optimum operation.
May run other equipment as assigned by the Supervisor.
Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Required Skills
Previous experience in the operation of at least one piece of bindery equipment is required, two preferred.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Ability to work varying hours per day/week.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently during the shift.
Required Experience
1-2 Years experience working in manufacturing or printing industry preferred.
