Data Analyst

HCC is looking for a Data Analyst who, under the direct supervision of the Quality and Informatics Director, is responsible for collection and analysis of information and creating reporting/dashboards to aid in decision making processes.
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to analyze data to identify themes and trends to determine appropriate improvement action steps
- Ability to develop reports/dashboards by extracting data or compiling reports from multiple sources
- Advanced Excel skills (examples: power query, power pivot, pivot tables; M language and/or Dax language)
- Ability to leverage tools to format reports to improve readability and visual aesthetics
- Understanding of database structures, relationships, and retrievable data
- Experience with data cleansing and validation
- Understanding of clinical measure criteria from various sources (examples: CMS, HEDIS, UDS, MQIC, etc.)
- Knowledge of clinical data (examples: ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS codes, and structured data)
